BIO

Heather Roberts brings nearly 20 years of experience in radio and television news to stations around Oregon. She graduated Cum Laude from Boston's Emerson College with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism.

 

Heather worked in television for a number of years, with stints at KATU in Portland, and in Bend at KFXO, KOHD and Central Oregon Daily News. She also spent more than five years as News Director at KBND FM/AM before launching the Oregon Radio News Network. As a freelance Field Producer for ABC News, Heather also travels the Pacific Northwest on assignment, and produces radio content for the ORNN from remote locations.

She and her husband live in Portland, along with their dog Bayla - aka Heather's "news hound."
